Font
The new Age Concern typeface is Helvetica Neue. It has been chosen because it is friendly, accessible, legible and widely available.
The two weights shown are the ones we will be using. The Light 45 weight is the standard for body copy, with Medium 65 used for highlights and headings.
In certain circumstances italics may be used. However, please note that when using italics the text will take longer to read due to the fact that the font is smaller, narrower and less defined. Therefore, the use of italics should be avoided or limited wherever possible. As legibility is the most important consideration, it is not recommend using italics for quotes, especially if they take up whole paragraphs or pages.
PLEASE NOTE: Helvetica Neue will be used for all external printed material, however, where the font is not available, please use Arial as your default font. If you are distributing a document electronically it should be produced in Arial as the recipient is unlikely to have Helvetica Neue.
